Saisai, pronounced /sai/ in Cypress, is a Chinese artist/designer currently living in Hobart. Shares common interests with Gina on the blend of contemporary art practice and oriental aesthetic style.

The uniqueness about Shichao is that she was born and raised in southern China – the home of traditional cultural inspiration, but lately she has also been experiencing western art through the period of overseas study. All of which gave her the confidence to understand the world and articulate its beauty into her artworks from various perspectives.

Nonetheless, her understanding about the Resort & Entertainment industry, together with the Commercial exhibition sector helps to facilitate my efforts towards designing an exceptional product quality, superior user experience and optimising organisational structure toward the high-end market.

Her mission is to make art useful and universal. Her vision is to blend traditional materials, such as metal and clay, with latest technologies for a contemporary yet respectfully classical touch.

In the end, she believes her passion to promote international art practice, coupled with her crafting expertise, specialist knowledge and skills in various management sectors would allow her to make lasting contributions to the art and culture industry.
